The 2019 Law and Leadership Academy graduated 20 cadets who participated in the program from July 8, 2019 to July 12, 2019 at the Delaware Valley High School.
This free camp is modeled after the police academies that adults attend to be sworn police officers. The academy has aspects of a “paramilitary” organization; junior cadets will be introduced to physical training such as: completing obstacle course, marching, and team building activities. Cadets will get a first hand look into different aspects of policing, including patrol, investigations, K-9, SWAT, aviation and more. Working together with the US Army students will learn marching maneuvers and Core Values.
